Matt Mireles is an American technology entrepreneur & investor who transforms science fiction into reality.

 Matt is founder/CEO of OASIS, a research lab focused on AI-enhanced human communication.

Matt co-founded Dishcraft Robotics, a maker of dishwashing robots for restaurants. He also co-founded SpeakerText , an text-based AI interface for video (acquired). He is an angel investor in 30+ startups, including Crusoe Energy, C16 Bio, KinsideQuit Genius & Oxygen.

Previously, Matt was an award-winning journalist. His writings, photographs & multimedia stories were published in The New York Times, Newsweek and Time, amongst others. 

After fighting forest fires in Alaska & Western US on a US Forest Service hotshot crew, Matt paid his way through Columbia University as a 911 paramedic in the South Bronx.
